Issai Beautyberry is grown for its show-stopping clusters of glossy violet-purple berries that line the arching stems in fall after the leaves drop. This compact deciduous shrub reaches about 4 feet and fruits reliably even as a young plant. Cut back hard in early spring for the best display.
